Water Penetration Testing in Bend
QED LAB was proud to provide FGIA/AAMA-accredited water penetration testing for the new Bend Public Works campus in Bend, Oregon. This ambitious project consolidates several essential city departments—Engineering, Facilities, Fleet, Transportation & Mobility, and Water Services—into one integrated location, significantly enhancing operational efficiency and community accessibility.
Situated on a spacious 35.5-acre site, the campus is designed to accommodate a diverse array of functions. Facilities include state-of-the-art administrative offices, employee workspaces, fleet maintenance and vehicle wash stations, extensive shop and warehouse areas, secure storage accommodations, and welcoming community meeting spaces.
Our role involved conducting meticulous water penetration tests to ensure the buildings comply with stringent performance standards for water-tightness, critical for long-term durability and energy efficiency in Central Oregon’s climate. QED LAB’s expertise and thorough approach provided reliable assurance that the fenestration and envelope systems meet or exceed industry requirements.
